I like the Dairy Queen commercial because it is funny how he blows the bubbles and the kittens are in it. I also like it how the person comes and lands on her face when he cracks opens the pinata. I think my favourite store would be T&T because in T&T, theres yummy fruits and food and drinks (bubble tea). Also theres a store that sells adorable stuff like hello kitty stuffies and backpacks. My favourite soft drink would be crush cream soda because I like the pink colour and I also like the flavour of it and the creamy top of it when you pour it out in a cup.

I think working well with my group means cooperating and taking responsibility on the part you are doing. I also think that working well means finishing your part on time and making it good quality. I also think that working well will mean that you come on time and you participate on answering the questions and such. I think that that we need to work on our organization because we sometimes forget or don't know what were doing. I think that we can work better by writing down what were suppose to do and when its due. I think that if we have positive attitude the our group can work better.

I think that businesses can have a bad reputation by not doing what they say or they promote false advertisements. Though, sometimes bad reputations are not the businesses faults, sometimes they are created by the workers in them, or just other companies. The workers inside the company may not like how they run their system or they don't like the amount of money they get so they might start some sort of rumour that leaks outside. While other companies that are competing with them, may decide to create rumours to make people dislike their products. A company can try advertising their positive side and make their products have a positive view to get rid of their negative image.

I think that Justin Hall-Tipping ideas are very good because he is trying to invent new things that will help the world. For example, taking carbon dioxide and turning it into a thin, plastic sheet that will help keep in the energy and keeping out the energy you don't want. Also, the invention of the the nano chip thing is a good invention because then you wouldn't have to use so much electricity every single day. I think that if these inventions were to be successful and they were on the market, then him and his scientist would make a profit.

Opening Activity

I think that the statement "Never let your sense of morals get in the way of doing what’s right" means that you shouldn't let your morals stop you from doing the right thing. Morals are like lessons learned from a certain story or event and sometimes people think that their morals are their sense of right and wrong. Though, you shouldn't let your morals choose for you because you can make a right choice.

1. I think I would put in like half an hour for him because if I didn't then he might get mad, but if I put in like 2 hours then I will feel weird.
2. It depends because if I didn't buy it, then when I go home I will regret buying it. Though, if the discount was good, then I would buy it.
3. I would give it back because if I didn't give the money back then my conscience will hit me right in the gut and I would like have nightmares.

I think that McDonalds is a unethical business because the food that they give people are greasy and fatting. Also, some people say that the meat in the burgers isn't real meat and that it is made from something else. Plus, I think that the fatty food that they sell are increasing heart attacks and obesity. McDonalds is a transnational company so that means more people are eating their greasy products.

Inside Jobs

Opening Activity

The criticism that is on Twitter is saying that "Canadian Protesters are failing to acknowledge the differences between the situation in the United States of America and the north of the border". Though, I think that the Canadian protesters are just protesting about the same thing as the American protesters. The protester in Wallstreet and Calgary downtown are protesting about the financial problems we're having and how the wealthy people are getting richer while poor people are becoming poorer. Though, the difference between America and Canada would be the money percents of the wealthy people.

I think that photo has become quite poplar because a lot of people don't think that rich people will join these protests. Also, people might think that rich people only care about themselves and that they wouldn't care about these things. I also think that people will think that rich people look down on poor people. Though, this picture shows a rich person joining this protest and holding a poster saying that she wants everyone to have enough things.

Secret of success in 8 words

Passion. work. good. focus. push. serve. ideas. persist.
I think that there are 8 words that will make you work hard and they are "Passion", "Work", "Good", "Focus", "Push", "Serve", "Ideas", and "Persist". Passion means that you do it because you love it, not because of money. Work means that you put your nose into and do it. Push means that there is someone or yourself to push you over your fears and so on, but all these words have a important meaning to make you successful.

I think the point of advertising on billboards and T.V is to attract people so that people will buy their stuff. I  think good advertisements are ads that attract people very quickly and have a nice catchy tone to it so that people can remember them easily, they are ads that make people enjoy looking at them. I think a good ad will be able to surprise and pursue people to buy things. Also, good advertisements can make people be aware of what is happening around them. I think bad advertisements are the ones that are weird and aren't attractive and people can't remember them. Also, the information that they give needs to be understandable.

1. Why do you want to achieve your business goal?
I think that if I achieved my goal then it would be would amaze the people who would have thought that we wouldn't be able to make a profit. It also would make us look like successful business people.
2. Is the business goal energizing?
I think that a business goal is energizing because if you were to fail the first time, then you would want to keep trying.
3. What will it look like when you get there?
Well, if our group does reach our goal then we would look happy and successful.
